A focused Local SEO practice for service businesses across the Philippines, based in Batangas. We work the three signals Google's Map Pack actually weighs — proximity, relevance, prominence — and report back what moved, what didn't, and why.

§01The problem

Most service businesses in Batangas are not on the map.

Three pieces of evidence — what a rank audit looks for, what the field data says, and what changes when the optimisation is done right.

In the cities and municipalities of Batangas — Lipa, Tanauan, Santo Tomas, Batangas City, the western coastal towns — most service businesses have a Google Business Profile. Far fewer have an optimised one. The difference shows up in a grid scan of the Map Pack, where a non-optimised profile typically holds rank 11 or worse across most of the geography it claims to serve.

That is not a small problem. Maps and local Search are where service buying decisions begin. An aircon repair searcher in Lipa Heights does not visit a directory. They tap the map, scan the top three pins, read two reviews, and call. If the business is not in those three pins, it does not exist.

Local SEO is not magic. It is the deliberate, ongoing work of reinforcing the three signals Google uses to rank in the Map Pack — proximity to the searcher, relevance to the query, and prominence in the broader local web. The compounding is slow at first and steep later.

Methodology note · The diagnostic to the right runs against a sample dataset of GBP and SERP signals. A full audit is a 30-minute call with grid-scan data for your specific city and category.

What follows is the practice. The diagnostic gives you a quick read on five signals; the field-notes section after it shows what happens when those signals are tuned over twelve months for one Lipa-based client.

Caveat. One case study, not a pattern. Time-to-lift, magnitude, and final position vary by competition density, GBP starting condition, review velocity, and how aggressively a business is willing to publish content. Other client outcomes are to be published as more engagements mature.

§03The practice

The practice,
in four parts.

Most agencies sell tactics. The practice is a system. Every engagement runs through the same four stages — diagnostic, optimisation, conversion, compounding — calibrated to the brief.

i.

Diagnostic first

Every engagement begins with a structured audit of the GBP, the local SERPs, the top three Map-Pack competitors, and the technical foundation of the existing website. Nothing gets optimised until we know what is broken.

  • GBP completeness scan
  • Grid-based rank tracking
  • Competitor signal benchmark
  • Technical foundation review
ii.

Maps-focused optimisation

The signals Google actually weighs in the Map Pack are categories, services, review velocity, content cadence, and citation accuracy. These are the inputs we tune — calibrated to your specific service area and competitive density.

  • GBP category + service tuning
  • Local landing page builds
  • Review velocity strategy
  • Citation cleanup + builds
iii.

Conversion infrastructure

Visibility without inquiries is a vanity metric. Once rankings move, we make sure every new searcher who finds the business has a frictionless path from Map Pack result to phone call or message.

  • Call + message tracking
  • GBP messaging setup
  • High-intent landing pages
  • CTA + form testing
iv.

Continuous improvement

Local SEO compounds when you keep pushing the inputs. Monthly reporting, monthly adjustments, and a clear plan for the next thirty days — every month, for as long as the engagement runs.

  • Monthly rank report
  • Signal calibration
  • Content + post cadence
  • Quarterly strategy review
§04What's on offer

What's on offer.

Four services. One playbook. Each one feeds the same outcome — more inquiries from people already searching for what the business sells.

Long-term Map Pack and local-search rankings through structured optimisation across Batangas and CALABARZON. Monthly retainer, monthly reporting, monthly adjustment.

Outcome — Inquiries from searchers already in market.

Profile optimisation for rankings, visibility, and conversions — categories, services, content cadence, photo discipline, and the engagement signals that move Map Pack position.

Outcome — Higher placement in the three-pack.

Fast, structured, locally-relevant websites built to reinforce Maps rankings and turn visitors into inquiries. Not a portfolio site; a ranking surface that converts.

Outcome — A site that supports the rankings, not just decorates them.

Backend signals — site architecture, schema, NAP consistency across the Philippine directory landscape, citation cleanup, and local authority links.

Outcome — Stable rankings that hold over time.

§06Where we work

Where we work.

Local SEO is geographic. Each city carries its own playbook — its own grid scan, its own competitor set, its own ranking dynamics.

Coverage extends to Cavite, Laguna, NCR, and selected cities nationwide. See the full index from the footer.

§07Before the call

Questions we get,
before the call.

Most businesses see measurable rank improvement in 30 to 90 days. The first lift is usually GBP-driven — calls and map visibility. Compound rank gains across the broader grid build over months three through six as authority signals accumulate.
A website is not strictly required, but it materially improves ranking stability and conversion rate. Google uses your site to validate relevance and authority. Businesses with an SEO-ready site keep their rankings longer and convert more searchers into inquiries.
Yes. Local SEO captures intent-driven search demand — people who already know what they need. Facebook ads create demand by interrupting users. For service businesses, Maps-sourced leads are typically higher-intent and lower cost per call.
There is no fixed rate card. Every engagement is scoped after the free 30-minute diagnostic, based on the market's competition density, the current condition of the Google Business Profile, and the number of locations. Retainers are month-to-month with no setup fees and no long-term contracts.
Month-to-month. No long-term contracts. Each engagement starts with a 30-minute diagnostic call. If we are not the right fit, we will tell you. Most clients stay 12 months or longer because the system compounds.
No. No legitimate provider can guarantee Google rankings. What we guarantee is a structured, Maps-focused process, full transparency on what we are doing each month, and continuous adjustment based on real performance data.
Cancel any time with 30 days notice. You keep every asset we have built — landing pages, citations, content, optimised GBP. We do not hostage your work.
No. The practice is based in Lipa City but serves Batangas, CALABARZON, Metro Manila, and other cities across the Philippines. Each engagement is built around the specific search behaviour and competition of that location.
Yes. The Authority tier is built for multi-location service brands. Each location gets its own GBP optimisation, landing page, citation stack, and rank tracking grid.
No. Local SEO applies to any business that serves customers in a defined geographic area — solo operators, growing teams, franchise networks. The strategy scales with the size of the market and the strength of the competitors.
The signals Google weighs in the Map Pack — GBP category alignment, review velocity and quality, proximity-to-searcher consistency, citation accuracy across the Philippine directory landscape, on-page relevance to local queries, and local backlink authority. We work all of them in parallel.
Yes. We run a weekly grid scan across the target service area so we can see rank from every point a customer might search. Aggregate rank means little — geographic rank is what matters in the Map Pack.
Map Pack grid rank (average and top-three share), GBP calls, GBP messages, GBP direction requests, organic local-keyword rank, click-to-call from search, and traffic by city. Everything ties back to inquiries, not vanity metrics.
